NICE TO MEET YOU

Bringing creativity, connection, and healing through art, wherever you are.

COR began as a place where art was practice, confidence, and care. The finished piece mattered, but the growth mattered more.

The first studio opened in Pennsylvania with structured art classes and community experiences. That foundation still shapes the work.

Now based in Texas, COR serves families across Bastrop County through small group art classes and custom creative celebrations.

You do not have to be an artist to feel what art can do.

Creativity does not disappear. It gets neglected.

I am Djully, but you can call me DJ. I am an artist, educator, and the founder of COR.

Art has always been more than technique for me. It has been clarity, growth, and resilience.

Over the years, I realized something important: creativity does not disappear. It gets neglected.

That is why I teach the way I do.

I combine artistic foundations, color theory, and structured learning with an environment that feels calm and encouraging.

A cute painting is nice. Skill, confidence, and creative independence matter more.

That is the work I care about.

Painting is the doorway. Stronger creativity is the point.

And this is only the beginning.

Art builds

Art builds more than paintings

Art can make something beautiful. It also builds focus, patience, problem-solving, and confidence.

When children learn drawing and painting, they are learning how to observe, analyze, and think independently. They are learning how to try again when something doesn’t work. That skill transfers far beyond the studio.

For Children: Confidence + Foundations

In structured art classes, children develop:

  • • Fine motor skills
  • • Visual awareness
  • • Creative problem-solving
  • • Emotional expression

Most importantly, they learn that they are capable. Art teaches resilience quietly.

For Adults: Clarity + Stress Relief

For adults, creative practice creates mental space.

Painting and drawing reduce stress, improve focus, and reconnect people with a part of themselves that often gets lost in busy routines.

Art is not about talent. It is about presence.

For Seniors: Cognitive Engagement + Meaning

Creative activity supports memory, cognitive engagement, and emotional well-being.

For seniors, art offers:

  • • Mental stimulation
  • • Fine motor activity
  • • Social interaction
  • • A sense of purpose

It keeps the mind active while allowing calm expression.

If you are looking for art classes in Bastrop County that build skill, creativity, and confidence, I would love to welcome you into the studio.
